Carolina Gama Di Grado is an emerging Brazilian filmmaker.
She graduated from the Communication, Media, and Film BFA program at the University of Windsor in 2022 and is currently pursuing her MFA in Documentary Media at the Toronto Metropolitan University.
Her research interests surround body image, aesthetic pressure, and matters involving the female body and sexuality.
Carolina is currently developing her career as a documentary producer, director and colorist. Some of her recent works include Lookin’ Good, Feelin’ Good (2021), a short documentary that premiered at the FREEP film festival in Detroit (2021) and is currently streaming on CBC Gem as a part of the 2022 Absolutely Canadian: Reel Shorts Windsor; and Purity (2021) an experimental short that premiered at the Windsor International Film Festival (2022) and screened at the Toronto Short Film Festival (2023).
